Afra Toronto is a modern African inspired head to toe ready-to-wear fashion brand. Established in 2016, officially launched in 2019. In an effort to spread love and impact lives positively on a local, as well as global scale; through renaissance African fashion, fusing culture and faith together. Hi, I am Sarah Osei-Mensah a.k.a. Amma (Danquah) the Creative Director/Designer/Founder/CEO. Inspired to start this company initially, in part as a ministry to simply help out a young cousin novice designer (Adwoa Afraso Sarfo) and others in Ghana maintain a source of income. Passionate about fashion and afrocentrism, ultimately compelled to fulfill my life’s purpose to continue in my beloved late father's legacy. Driven to put Africa/Africans "on the map", to bring Africa to America, so to speak, by any means necessary.

It is about representation, cause, and outcome. We matter, thus our culture/heritage/fashion/excellence matter as well. Thrilled to touch lives, empower, tell a story, and liberate us through our fashion/culture/Faith with every piece of Afra garment/accessory.
